A pluralistic counsellor and coach dedicated to creating a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where your voice can be heard and your healing journey can begin.
Thank you for looking at my profile. As a pluralistic counsellor and coach, I believe that counselling gives clients the opportunity to be themselves, to express themselves freely in a safe, warm, welcoming environment—a space where their voices can be heard.
With this in mind, I can offer my clients a warm, confidential, safe, and non-judgemental space where you feel heard and together, we can explore and help you understand your thoughts and behaviours. You may be feeling anxious, unheard or stuck—therapy can help you find new strategies to use in moving forward.
My belief is that we are all individuals and not all theories and counselling methods suit everyone. By training in a pluralistic way, I have a greater platform of tools in which we can explore in the therapy room. I tailor-make sessions around you as an individual, looking at what your therapy goals are and the steps we can take together to reach these goals.
I do not believe in immediate fixes; rather, most issues are relational problems. Together, we will recognise and explore patterns in yourself and others, what your triggers are, and where those patterns may have originated.
Being an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical guidelines and undertake monthly clinical supervision. Nothing you say will shock me, and everything you say is always confidential.
Alongside my BACP membership, I also have a BPS membership (British Psychology Society), ensuring that my practice maintains the highest professional standards while remaining deeply human and compassionate.
Understanding what to expect can help ease any anxiety about starting therapy. Here's how we'll work together:
We begin with a 15-minute telephone call where you can share what's bringing you to therapy and learn about my approach.
We'll discuss your therapy goals and explore which approaches might work best for your unique situation and preferences.
Weekly sessions provide consistent support as we work together toward your goals, with flexibility to adapt as needed.
We regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach to ensure you're getting what you need from therapy.
Traditional in-person therapy in a comfortable, private setting.
Convenient video sessions from the comfort of your own space.
For those who prefer movement and nature during our sessions.
Languages: I offer sessions in both English and French to serve diverse communities.
I offer several specialized approaches to meet diverse needs and preferences:
If you're not comfortable within a room and you're a bit sporty, we can have walking therapy where you can walk freely while sharing your emotions, experiences, and needs.
Together we can go outside, and I can challenge you with unknown people with different exercises to help you step out of your comfort zone and face your fear.
I know how financial stability is problematic for students, hence I am offering low-cost counselling for students only.
A thoughtful combination of pluralistic therapy and Al Quran verses therapy for those who find strength in their faith during healing.
Motivational coaching for career changes, studies, and feeling more ambitious in life. Practical support for your personal and professional growth.
Understanding and honoring diverse cultural backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs in the therapeutic process.
